1) NO Pug puppy is a couch potato

Most Pug puppies have a lot of energy. In fact, you likely won't have a couch potato Pug until they are older than two-years-old, and your Pug may NEVER become what you consider a couch potato. Based on what has been documented, Pugs from reputable breeders are more likely to be less hyper than other breeds, but even then they will have a lot of energy as a puppy. The truth is, all puppies are energetic and are likely to wreak havoc on everything until they're older.

2) Entertain a Pug puppy and he'll eventually get worn out

Sure, this fact is pretty common sense, but it's true! One of the easiest ways to wear a busy puppy out is to engage them in activities that will put their little minds to work and make them think. You better head to the pet store and get some puppy puzzles asap!

3) Pug puppies do not do well in crates

This may not be factual for all Pug puppies, but for the most part, a puppy who is left in his crate for eight to ten hours will go absolutely crazy by the time you get home. It's likely that you will need to spend your entire evening with him to calm him down. Pugs are sometimes referred to as a Velcro dog, so if you don't want a Pug, who is going to follow you everywhere, you may want to rethink having a co-dependent pooch.

    So true on all aspects. My black pug seems to be more human than the 2 fawn ones. And she definitely is grief shown guilt when something is wrong. Love my babies. All have different wonderful personalities
